Central London sound studios
Established in 1997, Side's sound studios have been providing audio post production facilities for the broadcast, commercials, corporate and interactive entertainment media sectors for over 10 years.
Located just minutes from Oxford Circus in Central London, our studios are manned by experienced in-house sound engineers.

Formats
Video Tape:
Our preferred formats for video tape are PAL Digi Beta or PAL Betacam SP. If you are bringing an NTSC tape or any other tape format, please advise us at the time of booking.
Video Files:
For video files we prefer Quicktime (.mov) but we can also accept .avi. Other formats such as .mpeg files will need converting before the session.
Audio:
For audio we can accept any standard audio format such as .wav .aif or .mp3. For full mixing we would prefer an OMF with handles. The OMF file must have the audio embedded and not be linked to video.
ISDN:
For ISDN we have a Pronto Prodys 3 codec which is compatible with any mpeg based codec (e.g. Telos Zephyr, CDQ Prima, etc.). Please advise us if you require any other formats at the time of booking and note an ISDN compatability test is always recommended prior to the session.
Source Connect:
Side is Source Connect Certified. The second studio must also have Source Connect - we can advise on this - and a pre-session test ideally carrioed out.
