Award-winning audio teams join forces
Building on a long and successful relationship with side, award-winning
composers and sound designers Andrew Barnabas and Paul Arnold (AKA Bob and Barn) officially joined the company as in-house music and sound design supervisors to form side Cambridge in
Autumn 2006.
The duo’s past collaborations with side have already resulted in a string of critically acclaimed titles, including MediEvil Resurrection and Primal, the latter earning them a BAFTA nomination for its epic orchestral score. Having been actively involved in games music and sound design since 1990, they bring with them a hefty CV of professional experience, from supervising specialist recordings to surround-sound mixing, audio implementation and foley work.
side MD Andy Emery commented: ‘We’re delighted that Bob and Barn are joining us as an official part of the team. I simply can’t think of anyone better qualified to oversee side’s music and sound design.’
side Cambridge is currently providing sound design and music composition services on a number of yet to be announced titles.
