Performance Capture
"I think this process will actually become part of an actor's tool kit – it just happens to be new at the moment". So says Andy Serkis of the technology made famous by his roles in King Kong and Lord Of The Rings – but for us at side this means not simply motion capture, but performance capture.
We're leading the field in simultaneous voice and motion capture, recording vocal parts and physical movements at the same moment (of which Brian Cox's role in Killzone was an excellent example). That means saving you precious time and achieving a truer, more complete acting performance. We're also set up to handle the process that is revolutionising the way we see games – facial capture – and are fully equipped not only with the necessary high fidelity cameras, lighting and "audio to picture" sync, but the experience to bring the right actors to the process.
